2. הֲרֹב H7230 I-CMS דְּבָרִים H1697 NMP לֹא H3808 NADV יֵעָנֶה H6030 VNY3MS וְאִם H518 W-PART ־ CPUN אִישׁ H376 NMS שְׂפָתַיִם H8193 NFD יִצְדָּֽק H6663 VQY3MS ׃ EPUN

2. Should not H3808 the multitude H7230 of words H1697 be answered H6030 ? and should H518 a man H376 full of talk H8193 be justified H6663 ?

3. בַּדֶּיךָ H907 CMP-2MS מְתִים H4962 NMP יַחֲרִישׁו H2790 VHY3MP וַתִּלְעַג H3932 W-VQY2MS וְאֵין H369 W-NPAR מַכְלִֽם H3637 VHPMS ׃ EPUN

3. Should thy lies H907 make men H4962 hold their peace H2790 ? and when thou mockest H3932 , shall no H369 man make thee ashamed H3637 ?

4. וַתֹּאמֶר H559 W-VQY3FS זַךְ H2134 AMS לִקְחִי H3948 CMS-1MS וּבַר H1249 W-JMS הָיִיתִי H1961 VQQ1MS בְעֵינֶֽיךָ H5869 B-CMD-2MS ׃ EPUN

4. For thou hast said H559 , My doctrine H3948 is pure H2134 , and I am H1961 clean H1249 in thine eyes H5869 .

5. וְֽאוּלָם H199 W-ADV מִֽי H4310 IPRO ־ CPUN יִתֵּן H5414 VHFA אֱלוֹהַּ H433 NAME-4MS דַּבֵּר H1696 VPFC וְיִפְתַּח H6605 W-VQY3MS שְׂפָתָיו H8193 CFD-3MS עִמָּֽךְ H5973 PREP-2FS ׃ EPUN

5. But H199 oh that H4310 God H433 would H5414 speak H1696 , and open H6605 his lips H8193 against H5973 thee;

6. וְיַגֶּד H5046 W-VHI3MS ־ CPUN לְךָ L-PPRO-2MS ׀ CPUN תַּֽעֲלֻמוֹת H8587 CFP חָכְמָה H2451 NFS כִּֽי H3588 CONJ ־ CPUN כִפְלַיִם H3718 NMD לְֽתוּשִׁיָּה H8454 L-NFS וְדַע H3045 W-VQI2MS כִּֽי H3588 CONJ ־ CPUN יַשֶּׁה H5382 VHY3MS לְךָ L-PPRO-2MS אֱלוֹהַ H433 EDS מֵעֲוֺנֶֽךָ H5771 M-CMS-2MS ׃ EPUN

6. And that he would show H5046 thee the secrets H8587 of wisdom H2451 , that H3588 they are double H3718 to that which is H8454 ! Know H3045 therefore that H3588 God H433 exacteth H5382 of thee less than thine iniquity H4480 H5771 deserveth .

7. Canst thou by searching H2714 find out H4672 God H433 ? canst thou find out H4672 the Almighty H7706 unto H5704 perfection H8503 ?

8. גָּבְהֵי H1363 CMP שָׁמַיִם H8064 NMP מַה H4100 IPRO ־ CPUN תִּפְעָל H6466 VQY2MS עֲמֻקָּה H6013 AFS מִשְּׁאוֹל H7585 M-NMS מַה H4100 IPRO ־ CPUN תֵּדָֽע H3045 VQY2MS ׃ EPUN

8. It is as high H1363 as heaven H8064 ; what H4100 canst thou do H6466 ? deeper H6013 than hell H4480 H7585 ; what H4100 canst thou know H3045 ?

9. אֲרֻכָּה H752 AFS מֵאֶרֶץ H776 M-NFS מִדָּהּ H4055 CMS-3FS וּרְחָבָה H7342 W-AFS מִנִּי H4480 PREP-1MS ־ CPUN יָֽם H3220 NMS ׃ EPUN

9. The measure H4055 thereof is longer H752 than the earth H4480 H776 , and broader H7342 than H4480 the sea H3220 .

10. אִם H518 PART ־ CPUN יַחֲלֹף H2498 VQY3MS וְיַסְגִּיר H5462 W-VHY3MS וְיַקְהִיל H6950 W-VHY3MS וּמִי H4310 W-IPRO יְשִׁיבֶֽנּוּ H7725 VHY3MS-3MS ׃ EPUN

10. If H518 he cut off H2498 , and shut up H5462 , or gather together H6950 , then who H4310 can hinder H7725 him?

11. כִּי H3588 CONJ ־ CPUN הוּא H1931 PPRO-3MS יָדַע H3045 VQQ3MS מְתֵי H4962 CMP ־ CPUN שָׁוְא H7723 NMS וַיַּרְא H7200 W-VIY3MS ־ CPUN אָוֶן H205 NMS וְלֹא H3808 W-NPAR יִתְבּוֹנָֽן H995 VTY3MS ׃ EPUN

11. For H3588 he H1931 knoweth H3045 vain H7723 men H4962 : he seeth H7200 wickedness H205 also ; will he not H3808 then consider H995 it ?

12. וְאִישׁ H376 W-NMS נָבוּב H5014 AMS יִלָּבֵב H3823 VNY3MS וְעַיִר H5895 W-CMS פֶּרֶא H6501 NMS אָדָם H120 NMS יִוָּלֵֽד H3205 VNY3MS ׃ EPUN

12. For vain H5014 man H376 would be wise H3823 , though man H120 be born H3205 like a wild ass H6501 's colt H5895 .

13. אִם H518 PART ־ CPUN אַתָּה H859 PPRO-2MS הֲכִינוֹתָ H3559 VHQ2MS לִבֶּךָ H3820 CMS-2MS וּפָרַשְׂתָּ H6566 W-VQQ2MS אֵלָיו H413 PREP-3MS כַּפֶּֽךָ H3709 CFD-2MS ׃ EPUN

13. If H518 thou H859 prepare H3559 thine heart H3820 , and stretch out H6566 thine hands H3709 toward H413 him;

14. If H518 iniquity H205 be in thine hand H3027 , put it far away H7368 , and let not H408 wickedness H5766 dwell H7931 in thy tabernacles H168 .

15. For H3588 then H227 shalt thou lift up H5375 thy face H6440 without spot H4480 H3971 ; yea , thou shalt be H1961 steadfast H3332 , and shalt not H3808 fear H3372 :

16. Because H3588 thou H859 shalt forget H7911 thy misery H5999 , and remember H2142 it as waters H4325 that pass away H5674 :

17. וּֽמִצָּהֳרַיִם H6672 WM-NMP יָקוּם H6965 VQY3MS חָלֶד H2465 NMS תָּעֻפָה H5774 VQI3FS כַּבֹּקֶר H1242 KD-NMS תִּהְיֶֽה H1961 VQY2MS ׃ EPUN

17. And thine age H2465 shall be clearer H6965 than the noonday H4480 H6672 ; thou shalt shine forth H5774 , thou shalt be H1961 as the morning H1242 .

18. וּֽבָטַחְתָּ H982 W-VQQ2MS כִּי H3588 CONJ ־ CPUN יֵשׁ H3426 PART תִּקְוָה H8615 NFS וְחָפַרְתָּ H2658 W-VQQ2MS לָבֶטַח H983 L-NMS תִּשְׁכָּֽב H7901 VQY2MS ׃ EPUN

18. And thou shalt be secure H982 , because H3588 there H3426 is hope H8615 ; yea , thou shalt dig H2658 about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest H7901 in safety H983 .

19. וְֽרָבַצְתָּ H7257 W-VQQ2MS וְאֵין H369 W-NPAR מַחֲרִיד H2729 VHPMS וְחִלּוּ H2470 W-VPQ3MP פָנֶיךָ H6440 CMP-2MS רַבִּֽים H7227 AMP ׃ EPUN

19. Also thou shalt lie down H7257 , and none H369 shall make thee afraid H2729 ; yea, many H7227 shall make suit H2470 unto H6440 thee.

20. וְעֵינֵי H5869 W-CMD רְשָׁעִים H7563 AMP תִּכְלֶינָה H3615 VQY3FP וּמָנוֹס H4498 W-NMS אָבַד H6 VQQ3MS מִנְהֶם H4480 PREP-3MP וְתִקְוָתָם H8615 W-CFS-3MP מַֽפַּח H4646 CMS ־ CPUN נָֽפֶשׁ H5315 GFS ׃ EPUN פ CPUN

20. But the eyes H5869 of the wicked H7563 shall fail H3615 , and they shall not escape H4498 H6 H4480 , and their hope H8615 shall be as the giving up H4646 of the ghost H5315 .
