1. O give thanks H3034 unto the LORD H3068 , for H3588 he is good H2896 : for H3588 his mercy H2617 endureth forever H5769 .

2. יֹאמְרוּ H559 VQY3MP גְּאוּלֵי H1350 יְהוָה H3068 EDS אֲשֶׁר H834 RPRO גְּאָלָם H1350 מִיַּד H3027 M-GFS ־ CPUN צָֽר H6862 AMS ׃ EPUN
|
2. Let the redeemed H1350 of the LORD H3068 say H559 so , whom H834 he hath redeemed H1350 from the hand H4480 H3027 of the enemy H6862 ;

3. וּֽמֵאֲרָצוֹת H776 קִבְּצָם H6908 מִמִּזְרָח H4217 וּמִֽמַּעֲרָב H4628 מִצָּפוֹן H6828 M-NFS וּמִיָּֽם H3220 ׃ EPUN
|
3. And gathered H6908 them out of the lands H4480 H776 , from the east H4480 H4217 , and from the west H4480 H4628 , from the north H4480 H6828 , and from the south H4480 H3220 .

4. תָּעוּ H8582 בַמִּדְבָּר H4057 בִּישִׁימוֹן H3452 דָּרֶךְ H1870 עִיר H5892 GFS מוֹשָׁב H4186 לֹא H3808 NADV מָצָֽאוּ H4672 ׃ EPUN
|
4. They wandered H8582 in the wilderness H4057 in a solitary H3452 way H1870 ; they found H4672 no H3808 city H5892 to dwell H4186 in.
|
|
5. רְעֵבִים H7457 גַּם H1571 CONJ ־ CPUN צְמֵאִים H6771 נַפְשָׁם H5315 CFS-3MP בָּהֶם CPUN תִּתְעַטָּֽף H5848 ׃ EPUN
|
5. Hungry H7457 and H1571 thirsty H6771 , their soul H5315 fainted H5848 in them.

|
6. וַיִּצְעֲקוּ H6817 אֶל H413 PREP ־ CPUN יְהוָה H3068 EDS בַּצַּר H6862 לָהֶם L-PPRO-3MP מִמְּצֽוּקוֹתֵיהֶם H4691 יַצִּילֵֽם H5337 ׃ EPUN

6. Then they cried H6817 unto H413 the LORD H3068 in their trouble H6862 , and he delivered H5337 them out of their distresses H4480 H4691 .

|
7. וַיַּֽדְרִיכֵם H1869 בְּדֶרֶךְ H1870 B-NMS יְשָׁרָה H3477 לָלֶכֶת H1980 L-VQFC אֶל H413 PREP ־ CPUN עִיר H5892 GFS מוֹשָֽׁב H4186 ׃ EPUN

7. And he led them forth H1869 by the right H3477 way H1870 , that they might go H1980 to H413 a city H5892 of habitation H4186 .

8. יוֹדוּ H3034 לַיהוָה H3068 L-EDS חַסְדּוֹ H2617 וְנִפְלְאוֹתָיו H6381 לִבְנֵי H1121 L-CMP אָדָֽם H120 ׃ EPUN
|
8. Oh that men would praise H3034 the LORD H3068 for his goodness H2617 , and for his wonderful works H6381 to the children H1121 of men H120 !
|
|
9. כִּי H3588 CONJ ־ CPUN הִשְׂבִּיעַ H7646 נֶפֶשׁ H5315 GFS שֹׁקֵקָה H8264 וְנֶפֶשׁ H5315 GFS רְעֵבָה H7457 AFS מִלֵּא H4390 VPQ3MS ־ CPUN טֽוֹב H2896 AMS ׃ EPUN

9. For H3588 he satisfieth H7646 the longing H8264 soul H5315 , and filleth H4390 the hungry H7457 soul H5315 with goodness H2896 .

10. יֹשְׁבֵי H3427 חֹשֶׁךְ H2822 NMS וְצַלְמָוֶת H6757 W-NMS אֲסִירֵי H615 עֳנִי H6040 וּבַרְזֶֽל H1270 ׃ EPUN
|
10. Such as sit H3427 in darkness H2822 and in the shadow of death H6757 , being bound H615 in affliction H6040 and iron H1270 ;

|
11. כִּֽי H3588 CONJ ־ CPUN הִמְרוּ H4784 אִמְרֵי H561 CMP ־ CPUN אֵל H410 EDS וַעֲצַת H6098 W-CFS עֶלְיוֹן H5945 AMS נָאָֽצוּ H5006 ׃ EPUN

11. Because H3588 they rebelled against H4784 the words H561 of God H410 , and contemned H5006 the counsel H6098 of the most High H5945 :

12. וַיַּכְנַע H3665 בֶּעָמָל H5999 לִבָּם H3820 CMS-3MP כָּשְׁלוּ H3782 וְאֵין H369 W-NPAR עֹזֵֽר H5826 ׃ EPUN
|
12. Therefore he brought down H3665 their heart H3820 with labor H5999 ; they fell down H3782 , and there was none H369 to help H5826 .

13. וַיִּזְעֲקוּ H2199 אֶל H413 PREP ־ CPUN יְהוָה H3068 EDS בַּצַּר H6862 לָהֶם L-PPRO-3MP מִמְּצֻֽקוֹתֵיהֶם H4691 יוֹשִׁיעֵֽם H3467 ׃ EPUN

13. Then they cried H2199 unto H413 the LORD H3068 in their trouble H6862 , and he saved H3467 them out of their distresses H4480 H4691 .

14. יֽוֹצִיאֵם H3318 מֵחֹשֶׁךְ H2822 וְצַלְמָוֶת H6757 W-NMS וּמוֹסְרוֹתֵיהֶם H4147 יְנַתֵּֽק H5423 ׃ EPUN
|
14. He brought them out H3318 of darkness H4480 H2822 and the shadow of death H6757 , and broke H5423 their bands H4147 in sunder.

15. יוֹדוּ H3034 לַיהוָה H3068 L-EDS חַסְדּוֹ H2617 וְנִפְלְאוֹתָיו H6381 לִבְנֵי H1121 L-CMP אָדָֽם H120 ׃ EPUN
|
15. Oh that men would praise H3034 the LORD H3068 for his goodness H2617 , and for his wonderful works H6381 to the children H1121 of men H120 !
|
|
16. כִּֽי H3588 CONJ ־ CPUN שִׁבַּר H7665 דַּלְתוֹת H1817 נְחֹשֶׁת H5178 CFS וּבְרִיחֵי H1280 בַרְזֶל H1270 גִּדֵּֽעַ H1438 ׃ EPUN

16. For H3588 he hath broken H7665 the gates H1817 of brass H5178 , and cut H1438 the bars H1280 of iron H1270 in sunder.

17. אֱוִלִים H191 מִדֶּרֶךְ H1870 פִּשְׁעָם H6588 וּֽמֵעֲוֺֽנֹתֵיהֶם H5771 יִתְעַנּֽוּ H6031 ׃ EPUN
|
17. Fools H191 because H4480 H1870 of their transgression H6588 , and because of their iniquities H4480 H5771 , are afflicted H6031 .
|
|
18. כָּל H3605 NMS ־ CPUN אֹכֶל H400 NMS תְּתַעֵב H8581 נַפְשָׁם H5315 CFS-3MP וַיַּגִּיעוּ H5060 עַד H5704 PREP ־ CPUN שַׁעֲרֵי H8179 CMP מָֽוֶת H4194 NMS ׃ EPUN
|
18. Their soul H5315 abhorreth H8581 all manner H3605 of meat H400 ; and they draw near H5060 unto H5704 the gates H8179 of death H4194 .

19. וַיִּזְעֲקוּ H2199 אֶל H413 PREP ־ CPUN יְהוָה H3068 EDS בַּצַּר H6862 לָהֶם L-PPRO-3MP מִמְּצֻֽקוֹתֵיהֶם H4691 יוֹשִׁיעֵֽם H3467 ׃ EPUN

19. Then they cry H2199 unto H413 the LORD H3068 in their trouble H6862 , and he saveth H3467 them out of their distresses H4480 H4691 .
|
|
20. יִשְׁלַח H7971 VQY3MS דְּבָרוֹ H1697 וְיִרְפָּאֵם H7495 וִֽימַלֵּט H4422 מִשְּׁחִיתוֹתָֽם H7825 ׃ EPUN ׆ EPUN
|
20. He sent H7971 his word H1697 , and healed H7495 them , and delivered H4422 them from their destructions H4480 H7825 .
|
|
21. יוֹדוּ H3034 לַיהוָה H3068 L-EDS חַסְדּוֹ H2617 וְנִפְלְאוֹתָיו H6381 לִבְנֵי H1121 L-CMP אָדָֽם H120 ׃ EPUN ׆ EPUN
|
21. Oh that men would praise H3034 the LORD H3068 for his goodness H2617 , and for his wonderful works H6381 to the children H1121 of men H120 !
|

22. וְיִזְבְּחוּ H2076 זִבְחֵי H2077 תוֹדָה H8426 וִֽיסַפְּרוּ H5608 W-VPY3MP מַעֲשָׂיו H4639 בְּרִנָּֽה H7440 ׃ EPUN ׆ EPUN
|
22. And let them sacrifice H2076 the sacrifices H2077 of thanksgiving H8426 , and declare H5608 his works H4639 with rejoicing H7440 .
|

23. יוֹרְדֵי H3381 הַיָּם H3220 D-NMS בָּאֳנִיּוֹת H591 עֹשֵׂי H6213 מְלָאכָה H4399 בְּמַיִם H4325 רַבִּֽים H7227 AMP ׃ EPUN ׆ EPUN
|
23. They that go down H3381 to the sea H3220 in ships H591 , that do H6213 business H4399 in great H7227 waters H4325 ;

|
24. הֵמָּה H1992 PPRO-3MP רָאוּ H7200 VQQ3MP מַעֲשֵׂי H4639 יְהוָה H3068 EDS וְנִפְלְאוֹתָיו H6381 בִּמְצוּלָֽה H4688 ׃ EPUN ׆ EPUN
|
24. These H1992 see H7200 the works H4639 of the LORD H3068 , and his wonders H6381 in the deep H4688 .
|
|
25. וַיֹּאמֶר H559 W-VQY3MS וַֽיַּעֲמֵד H5975 רוּחַ H7307 NFS סְעָרָה H5591 וַתְּרוֹמֵם H7311 גַּלָּֽיו H1530 ׃ EPUN ׆ EPUN
|
25. For he commandeth H559 , and raiseth H5975 the stormy H5591 wind H7307 , which lifteth up H7311 the waves H1530 thereof.
|
|
26. יַעֲלוּ H5927 שָׁמַיִם H8064 NMP יֵרְדוּ H3381 תְהוֹמוֹת H8415 נַפְשָׁם H5315 CFS-3MP בְּרָעָה H7451 תִתְמוֹגָֽג H4127 ׃ EPUN
|
26. They mount up H5927 to the heaven H8064 , they go down H3381 again to the depths H8415 : their soul H5315 is melted H4127 because of trouble H7451 .
|
|
27. יָחוֹגּוּ H2287 וְיָנוּעוּ H5128 כַּשִּׁכּוֹר H7910 וְכָל H3605 W-CMS ־ CPUN חָכְמָתָם H2451 תִּתְבַּלָּֽע H1104 ׃ EPUN
|
27. They reel to and fro H2287 , and stagger H5128 like a drunken man H7910 , and are at their wits' end H3605 H2451 H1104 .

28. וַיִּצְעֲקוּ H6817 אֶל H413 PREP ־ CPUN יְהוָה H3068 EDS בַּצַּר H6862 לָהֶם L-PPRO-3MP וּֽמִמְּצֽוּקֹתֵיהֶם H4691 יוֹצִיאֵֽם H3318 ׃ EPUN

28. Then they cry H6817 unto H413 the LORD H3068 in their trouble H6862 , and he bringeth them out H3318 of their distresses H4480 H4691 .

29. יָקֵם H6965 סְעָרָה H5591 לִדְמָמָה H1827 וַיֶּחֱשׁוּ H2814 גַּלֵּיהֶֽם H1530 ׃ EPUN
|
29. He maketh H6965 the storm H5591 a calm H1827 , so that the waves H1530 thereof are still H2814 .
|
|
30. וַיִּשְׂמְחוּ H8055 כִֽי H3588 ־ CPUN יִשְׁתֹּקוּ H8367 וַיַּנְחֵם H5148 אֶל H413 PREP ־ CPUN מְחוֹז H4231 חֶפְצָֽם H2656 ׃ EPUN
|
30. Then are they glad H8055 because H3588 they be quiet H8367 ; so he bringeth H5148 them unto H413 their desired H2656 haven H4231 .

31. יוֹדוּ H3034 לַיהוָה H3068 L-EDS חַסְדּוֹ H2617 וְנִפְלְאוֹתָיו H6381 לִבְנֵי H1121 L-CMP אָדָֽם H120 ׃ EPUN
|
31. Oh that men would praise H3034 the LORD H3068 for his goodness H2617 , and for his wonderful works H6381 to the children H1121 of men H120 !
|
|
32. וִֽירֹמְמוּהוּ H7311 בִּקְהַל H6951 ־ CPUN עָם H5971 NMS וּבְמוֹשַׁב H4186 זְקֵנִים H2205 AMP יְהַלְלֽוּהוּ H1984 ׃ EPUN
|
32. Let them exalt H7311 him also in the congregation H6951 of the people H5971 , and praise H1984 him in the assembly H4186 of the elders H2205 .

33. יָשֵׂם H7760 VQI3MS נְהָרוֹת H5104 NMP לְמִדְבָּר H4057 וּמֹצָאֵי H4161 מַיִם H4325 OMD לְצִמָּאֽוֹן H6774 ׃ EPUN
|
33. He turneth H7760 rivers H5104 into a wilderness H4057 , and the watersprings H4325 H4161 into dry ground H6774 ;
|
|
34. אֶרֶץ H776 GFS פְּרִי H6529 NMS לִמְלֵחָה H4420 מֵרָעַת H7451 יֹשְׁבֵי H3427 בָֽהּ EPUN ׃ EPUN
|
34. A fruitful H6529 land H776 into barrenness H4420 , for the wickedness H4480 H7451 of them that dwell H3427 therein.
|
|
35. יָשֵׂם H7760 VQI3MS מִדְבָּר H4057 NMS לַֽאֲגַם H98 ־ CPUN מַיִם H4325 OMD וְאֶרֶץ H776 W-NFS צִיָּה H6723 NFS לְמֹצָאֵי H4161 מָֽיִם H4325 OMD ׃ EPUN

35. He turneth H7760 the wilderness H4057 into a standing H98 water H4325 , and dry H6723 ground H776 into watersprings H4161 H4325 .
|
|
36. וַיּוֹשֶׁב H3427 שָׁם H8033 ADV רְעֵבִים H7457 וַיְכוֹנְנוּ H3559 עִיר H5892 GFS מוֹשָֽׁב H4186 ׃ EPUN
|
36. And there H8033 he maketh the hungry to dwell H3427 H7457 , that they may prepare H3559 a city H5892 for habitation H4186 ;
|
|
37. וַיִּזְרְעוּ H2232 שָׂדוֹת H7704 וַיִּטְּעוּ H5193 כְרָמִים H3754 וַיַּעֲשׂוּ H6213 W-VQY3MP פְּרִי H6529 NMS תְבֽוּאָה H8393 ׃ EPUN
|
37. And sow H2232 the fields H7704 , and plant H5193 vineyards H3754 , which may yield H6213 fruits H6529 of increase H8393 .
|
|
38. וַיְבָרֲכֵם H1288 וַיִּרְבּוּ H7235 W-VQY3MP מְאֹד H3966 ADV וּבְהֶמְתָּם H929 לֹא H3808 NADV יַמְעִֽיט H4591 ׃ EPUN
|
38. He blesseth H1288 them also , so that they are multiplied H7235 greatly H3966 ; and suffereth not H3808 their cattle H929 to decrease H4591 .
|
|
39. וַיִּמְעֲטוּ H4591 וַיָּשֹׁחוּ H7817 מֵעֹצֶר H6115 רָעָה H7451 AFS וְיָגֽוֹן H3015 ׃ EPUN ׆ EPUN
|
39. Again , they are minished H4591 and brought low H7817 through oppression H4480 H6115 , affliction H7451 , and sorrow H3015 .
|
|
40. שֹׁפֵךְ H8210 VQPMS בּוּז H937 NMS עַל H5921 PREP ־ CPUN נְדִיבִים H5081 AMP וַיַּתְעֵם H8582 W-VHY3MS-3MP בְּתֹהוּ H8414 B-NMS לֹא H3808 NADV ־ CPUN דָֽרֶךְ H1870 NMS ׃ EPUN

40. He poureth H8210 contempt H937 upon H5921 princes H5081 , and causeth them to wander H8582 in the wilderness H8414 , where there is no H3808 way H1870 .

41. וַיְשַׂגֵּב H7682 אֶבְיוֹן H34 מֵעוֹנִי H6040 וַיָּשֶׂם H7760 W-VQY3MS כַּצֹּאן H6629 מִשְׁפָּחֽוֹת H4940 ׃ EPUN
|
41. Yet setteth he the poor on high H7682 H34 from affliction H4480 H6040 , and maketh H7760 him families H4940 like a flock H6629 .

42. יִרְאוּ H7200 VQY3MP יְשָׁרִים H3477 AMP וְיִשְׂמָחוּ H8055 W-VQY3MP וְכָל H3605 W-CMS ־ CPUN עַוְלָה H5766 NFS קָפְצָה H7092 VQQ3FS פִּֽיהָ H6310 CMS-3FS ׃ EPUN

42. The righteous H3477 shall see H7200 it , and rejoice H8055 : and all H3605 iniquity H5766 shall stop H7092 her mouth H6310 .

43. מִי H4310 IPRO ־ CPUN חָכָם H2450 AMS וְיִשְׁמָר H8104 ־ CPUN אֵלֶּה H428 PMP וְיִתְבּֽוֹנְנוּ H995 חַֽסְדֵי H2617 יְהוָֽה H3068 NAME-4MS ׃ EPUN

43. Whoso H4310 is wise H2450 , and will observe H8104 these H428 things , even they shall understand H995 the lovingkindness H2617 of the LORD H3068 .
