2. "Tell the Israelites: When a person inadvertently commits a sin against some command of the LORD by doing one of the forbidden things,	2. Speak ^H1696 unto ^H413 the children ^H1121 of Israel ^H3478 , saying ^H559 , If ^H3588 a soul ^H5315 shall sin ^H2398 through ignorance ^H7684 against any ^H4480 ^H3605 of the commandments ^H4687 of the LORD ^H3068 concerning things which ^H834 ought not ^H3808 to be done ^H6213 , and shall do ^H6213 against any ^H4480 ^H259 of them ^H4480 ^H2007 :
3. if it is the anointed priest who thus sins and thereby makes the people also become guilty, he shall present to the LORD a young, unblemished bull as a sin offering for the sin he committed.	3. If ^H518 the priest ^H3548 that is anointed ^H4899 do sin ^H2398 according to the sin ^H819 of the people ^H5971 ; then let him bring ^H7126 for ^H5921 his sin ^H2403 , which ^H834 he hath sinned ^H2398 , a young ^H1121 ^H1241 bullock ^H6499 without blemish ^H8549 unto the LORD ^H3068 for a sin offering ^H2403 .
4. Bringing the bullock to the entrance of the meeting tent, before the LORD, he shall lay his hand on its head and slaughter it before the LORD.	4. And he shall bring ^H935 ^H853 the bullock ^H6499 unto ^H413 the door ^H6607 of the tabernacle ^H168 of the congregation ^H4150 before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068 ; and shall lay ^H5564 ^H853 his hand ^H3027 upon ^H5921 the bullock ^H6499 's head ^H7218 , and kill ^H7819 ^H853 the bullock ^H6499 before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068 .
5. The anointed priest shall then take some of the bullock's blood and bring it into the meeting tent,	5. And the priest ^H3548 that is anointed ^H4899 shall take ^H3947 of the bullock's blood ^H4480 ^H1818 ^H6499 , and bring ^H935 it to ^H413 the tabernacle ^H168 of the congregation ^H4150 :
6. where, dipping his finger in the blood, he shall sprinkle it seven times before the LORD, toward the veil of the sanctuary.	6. And the priest ^H3548 shall dip ^H2881 ^H853 his finger ^H676 in the blood ^H1818 , and sprinkle ^H5137 of ^H4480 the blood ^H1818 seven ^H7651 times ^H6471 before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068 , ^H853 before ^H6440 the veil ^H6532 of the sanctuary ^H6944 .
7. The priest shall also put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of fragrant incense which is before the LORD in the meeting tent. The rest of the bullock's blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar of holocausts which is at the entrance of the meeting tent.	7. And the priest ^H3548 shall put ^H5414 some of ^H4480 the blood ^H1818 upon ^H5921 the horns ^H7161 of the altar ^H4196 of sweet ^H5561 incense ^H7004 before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068 , which ^H834 is in the tabernacle ^H168 of the congregation ^H4150 ; and shall pour ^H8210 all ^H3605 the blood ^H1818 of the bullock ^H6499 at ^H413 the bottom ^H3247 of the altar ^H4196 of the burnt offering ^H5930 , which ^H834 is at the door ^H6607 of the tabernacle ^H168 of the congregation ^H4150 .
8. From the sin-offering bullock he shall remove all the fat: the fatty membrane over the inner organs, and all the fat that adheres to them,	8. And he shall take off ^H7311 from ^H4480 it all ^H3605 the fat ^H2459 of the bullock ^H6499 for the sin offering ^H2403 ; ^H853 the fat ^H2459 that covereth ^H3680 ^H5921 the inwards ^H7130 , and all ^H3605 the fat ^H2459 that ^H834 is upon ^H5921 the inwards ^H7130 ,
9. as well as the two kidneys, with the fat on them near the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he must sever above the kidneys.	9. And the two ^H8147 kidneys ^H3629 , and the fat ^H2459 that ^H834 is upon ^H5921 them, which ^H834 is by ^H5921 the flanks ^H3689 , and the caul ^H3508 above ^H5921 the liver ^H3516 , with ^H5921 the kidneys ^H3629 , it shall he take away ^H5493 ,
10. This is the same as is removed from the ox of the peace offering; and the priest shall burn it on the altar of holocausts.	10. As ^H834 it was taken off ^H7311 from the bullock ^H4480 ^H7794 of the sacrifice ^H2077 of peace offerings ^H8002 : and the priest ^H3548 shall burn ^H6999 them upon ^H5921 the altar ^H4196 of the burnt offering ^H5930 .
11. The hide of the bullock and all its flesh, with its head, legs, inner organs and offal,	11. And the skin ^H5785 of the bullock ^H6499 , and all ^H3605 his flesh ^H1320 , with ^H5921 his head ^H7218 , and with ^H5921 his legs ^H3767 , and his inwards ^H7130 , and his dung ^H6569 ,
12. in short, the whole bullock, shall be brought outside the camp to a clean place where the ashes are deposited and there be burned up in a wood fire. At the place of the ash heap, there it must be burned.	12. Even ^H853 the whole ^H3605 bullock ^H6499 shall he carry forth ^H3318 without ^H413 ^H4480 ^H2351 the camp ^H4264 unto ^H413 a clean ^H2889 place ^H4725 , where the ashes ^H1880 are poured out ^H8211 , and burn ^H8313 him on ^H5921 the wood ^H6086 with fire ^H784 : where ^H5921 the ashes ^H1880 are poured out ^H8211 shall he be burnt ^H8313 .
13. "If the whole community of Israel inadvertently and without even being aware of it does something that the LORD has forbidden and thus makes itself guilty,	13. And if ^H518 the whole ^H3605 congregation ^H5712 of Israel ^H3478 sin through ignorance ^H7686 , and the thing ^H1697 be hid ^H5956 from the eyes ^H4480 ^H5869 of the assembly ^H6951 , and they have done ^H6213 somewhat against any of ^H259 ^H4480 ^H3605 the commandments ^H4687 of the LORD ^H3068 concerning things which ^H834 should not ^H3808 be done ^H6213 , and are guilty ^H816 ;
14. should it later on become known that the sin was committed, the community shall present a young bull as a sin offering. They shall bring it before the meeting tent,	14. When the sin ^H2403 , which ^H834 they have sinned ^H2398 against ^H5921 it , is known ^H3045 , then the congregation ^H6951 shall offer ^H7126 a young ^H1121 ^H1241 bullock ^H6499 for the sin ^H2403 , and bring ^H935 him before ^H6440 the tabernacle ^H168 of the congregation ^H4150 .
15. and here, before the LORD, the elders of the community shall lay their hands on the bullock's head. When the bullock has been slaughtered before the LORD,	15. And the elders ^H2205 of the congregation ^H5712 shall lay ^H5564 ^H853 their hands ^H3027 upon ^H5921 the head ^H7218 of the bullock ^H6499 before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068 : and ^H853 the bullock ^H6499 shall be killed ^H7819 before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068 .

18. He shall also put some of the blood on the horns of the altar of fragrant incense which is before the LORD in the meeting tent. The rest of the blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar of holocausts which is at the entrance of the meeting tent.	18. And he shall put ^H5414 some of ^H4480 the blood ^H1818 upon ^H5921 the horns ^H7161 of the altar ^H4196 which ^H834 is before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068 , that ^H834 is in the tabernacle ^H168 of the congregation ^H4150 , and shall pour out ^H8210 all ^H3605 the blood ^H1818 at ^H413 the bottom ^H3247 of the altar ^H4196 of the burnt offering ^H5930 , which ^H834 is at the door ^H6607 of the tabernacle ^H168 of the congregation ^H4150 .
19. All of its fat he shall take from it and burn on the altar,	19. And he shall take ^H7311 all ^H3605 his fat ^H2459 from ^H4480 him , and burn ^H6999 it upon the altar ^H4196 .
20. doing with this bullock just as he did with the other sin-offering bullock. Thus the priest shall make atonement for them, and they will be forgiven.	20. And he shall do ^H6213 with the bullock ^H6499 as ^H834 he did ^H6213 with the bullock ^H6499 for a sin offering ^H2403 , so ^H3651 shall he do ^H6213 with this : and the priest ^H3548 shall make an atonement ^H3722 for ^H5921 them , and it shall be forgiven ^H5545 them.
21. This bullock must also be brought outside the camp and burned, just as has been prescribed for the other one. This is the sin offering for the community.	21. And he shall carry forth ^H3318 ^H853 the bullock ^H6499 without ^H413 ^H4480 ^H2351 the camp ^H4264 , and burn ^H8313 him as ^H834 he burned ^H8313 ^H853 the first ^H7223 bullock ^H6499 : it ^H1931 is a sin offering ^H2403 for the congregation ^H6951 .
22. "Should a prince commit a sin inadvertently by doing one of the things which are forbidden by some commandment of the LORD, his God, and thus become guilty,	22. When ^H834 a ruler ^H5387 hath sinned ^H2398 , and done ^H6213 somewhat through ignorance ^H7684 against any of ^H259 ^H4480 ^H3605 the commandments ^H4687 of the LORD ^H3068 his God ^H430 concerning things which ^H834 should not ^H3808 be done ^H6213 , and is guilty ^H816 ;
23. if later on he learns of the sin he committed, he shall bring as his offering an unblemished male goat.	23. Or ^H176 if his sin ^H2403 , wherein ^H834 he hath sinned ^H2398 , come to his knowledge ^H3045 ^H413 ; he shall bring ^H935 ^H853 his offering ^H7133 , a kid ^H8163 of the goats ^H5795 , a male ^H2145 without blemish ^H8549 :
24. Having laid his hands on its head, he shall slaughter the goat as a sin offering before the LORD, in the place where the holocausts are slaughtered.	24. And he shall lay ^H5564 his hand ^H3027 upon ^H5921 the head ^H7218 of the goat ^H8163 , and kill ^H7819 it in the place ^H4725 where ^H834 they kill ^H7819 ^H853 the burnt offering ^H5930 before ^H6440 the LORD ^H3068 : it ^H1931 is a sin offering ^H2403 .
25. The priest shall then take some of the blood of the sin offering on his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of holocausts. The rest of the blood he shall pour out at the base of this altar.	25. And the priest ^H3548 shall take ^H3947 of ^H4480 the blood ^H1818 of the sin offering ^H2403 with his finger ^H676 , and put ^H5414 it upon ^H5921 the horns ^H7161 of the altar ^H4196 of burnt offering ^H5930 , and shall pour out ^H8210 his blood ^H1818 at ^H413 the bottom ^H3247 of the altar ^H4196 of burnt offering ^H5930 .
26. All of the fat he shall burn on the altar like the fat of the peace offering. Thus the priest shall make atonement for the prince's sin, and it will be forgiven.	26. And he shall burn ^H6999 all ^H3605 his fat ^H2459 upon the altar ^H4196 , as the fat ^H2459 of the sacrifice ^H2077 of peace offerings ^H8002 : and the priest ^H3548 shall make an atonement ^H3722 for ^H5921 him as concerning his sin ^H4480 ^H2403 , and it shall be forgiven ^H5545 him.
27. "If a private person commits a sin inadvertently by doing one of the things which are forbidden by the commandments of the LORD, and thus becomes guilty,	27. And if ^H518 any ^H259 one ^H5315 of the common people ^H4480 ^H5971 ^H776 sin ^H2398 through ignorance ^H7684 , while he doeth ^H6213 somewhat against any ^H259 of the commandments ^H4480 ^H4687 of the LORD ^H3068 concerning things which ^H834 ought not ^H3808 to be done ^H6213 , and be guilty ^H816 ;
28. should he later on learn of the sin he committed, he shall bring an unblemished she-goat as the offering for his sin.	28. Or ^H176 if his sin ^H2403 , which ^H834 he hath sinned ^H2398 , come to his knowledge ^H3045 ^H413 : then he shall bring ^H935 his offering ^H7133 , a kid ^H8166 of the goats ^H5795 , a female ^H5347 without blemish ^H8549 , for ^H5921 his sin ^H2403 which ^H834 he hath sinned ^H2398 .
29. Having laid his hand on the head of the sin offering, he shall slaughter it at the place of the holocausts.	29. And he shall lay ^H5564 ^H853 his hand ^H3027 upon ^H5921 the head ^H7218 of the sin offering ^H2403 , and slay ^H7819 ^H853 the sin offering ^H2403 in the place ^H4725 of the burnt offering ^H5930 .
30. The priest shall then take some of its blood on his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of holocausts. The rest of the blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar.	30. And the priest ^H3548 shall take ^H3947 of the blood ^H4480 ^H1818 thereof with his finger ^H676 , and put ^H5414 it upon ^H5921 the horns ^H7161 of the altar ^H4196 of burnt offering ^H5930 , and shall pour out ^H8210 all ^H3605 the blood ^H1818 thereof at ^H413 the bottom ^H3247 of the altar ^H4196 .
31. All the fat shall be removed, just as the fat is removed from the peace offering, and the priest shall burn it on the altar for an odor pleasing to the LORD. Thus the priest shall make atonement for him, and he will be forgiven.	31. And he shall take away ^H5493 all ^H3605 the fat ^H2459 thereof, as ^H834 the fat ^H2459 is taken away ^H5493 from ^H4480 off ^H5921 the sacrifice ^H2077 of peace offerings ^H8002 ; and the priest ^H3548 shall burn ^H6999 it upon the altar ^H4196 for a sweet ^H5207 savor ^H7381 unto the LORD ^H3068 ; and the priest ^H3548 shall make an atonement ^H3722 for ^H5921 him , and it shall be forgiven ^H5545 him.
32. "If, however, for his sin offering he presents a lamb, he shall bring an unblemished female.	32. And if ^H518 he bring ^H935 a lamb ^H3532 for a sin ^H2403 offering ^H7133 , he shall bring ^H935 it a female ^H5347 without blemish ^H8549 .
33. Having laid his hand on its head, he shall slaughter this sin offering in the place where the holocausts are slaughtered.	33. And he shall lay ^H5564 ^H853 his hand ^H3027 upon ^H5921 the head ^H7218 of the sin offering ^H2403 , and slay ^H7819 it for a sin offering ^H2403 in the place ^H4725 where ^H834 they kill ^H7819 ^H853 the burnt offering ^H5930 .
34. The priest shall then take some of the blood of the sin offering on his finger and put it on the horns of the altar of holocausts. The rest of the blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar.	34. And the priest ^H3548 shall take ^H3947 of the blood ^H4480 ^H1818 of the sin offering ^H2403 with his finger ^H676 , and put ^H5414 it upon ^H5921 the horns ^H7161 of the altar ^H4196 of burnt offering ^H5930 , and shall pour out ^H8210 all ^H3605 the blood ^H1818 thereof at ^H413 the bottom ^H3247 of the altar ^H4196 :
35. All the fat shall be removed, just as the fat is removed from the peace-offering lamb, and the priest shall burn it on the altar with the other oblations of the LORD. Thus the priest shall make atonement for the man's sin, and it will be forgiven.	35. And he shall take away ^H5493 all ^H3605 the fat ^H2459 thereof, as ^H834 the fat ^H2459 of the lamb ^H3775 is taken away ^H5493 from the sacrifice ^H4480 ^H2077 of the peace offerings ^H8002 ; and the priest ^H3548 shall burn ^H6999 them upon the altar ^H4196 , according to ^H5921 the offerings made by fire ^H801 unto the LORD ^H3068 : and the priest ^H3548 shall make an atonement ^H3722 for ^H5921 his sin ^H2403 that ^H834 he hath committed ^H2398 , and it shall be forgiven ^H5545 him.
