TOV   அப்பொழுது அந்த ஐந்து மனுஷரும் புறப்பட்டு, லாயீசுக்குப் போய், அதில் குடியிருக்கிற ஜனங்கள் சீதோனியருடைய வழக்கத்தின்படியே, பயமில்லாமல் அமரிக்கையும் சுகமுமாய் இருக்கிறதையும், தேசத்திலே அவர்களை அடக்கி ஆள யாதொரு அதிகாரியும் இல்லை என்பதையும், அவர்கள் சீதோனியருக்குத் தூரமானவர்கள் என்பதையும், அவர்களுக்கு ஒருவரோடும் கவை காரியம் இல்லை என்பதையும் கண்டு,

ERVTA   எனவே அந்த 5 மனிதர்களும் அங்கிருந்து சென்றனர். அவர்கள் லாயீஸ் நகரத்திற்குச் சென்றனர். அந்நகர ஜனங்கள் பாதுகாப்பாக வாழ்வதைக் கண்டனர். அவர்களைச் சீதோனியர் ஆண்டு வந்தனர். எல்லாம் சமாதானத்தேடு, அமைதியாக நடைபெற்றன. அவர்கள் எல்லாவற்றையும் நிறைவாய் பெற்றிருந்தனர். எந்தப் பகைவரும் அவர்களைத் துன்புறுத்துவதற்கு அருகே இருக்கவில்லை. மேலும் அவர்கள் சீதோனிலிருந்து வெகுதூரத்தில் வாழ்ந்து வந்தார்கள். ஆராமின் ஜனங்களோடும் எத்தகைய ஒப்பந்தமும் அவர்கள் செய்திருக்கவில்லை.

ERVTE   అందువల్ల ఐదుగురు వెళ్లిపోయారు. లాయిషు నగరానికి వారు వచ్చారు. నగరంలోని ప్రజలు భద్రత కలిగి ఉండడం వారు చూశారు. వారిని సీదోను ప్రజలు పరిపాలించారు. ప్రతిదీ ప్రశాంతంగా శాంతియుతంగా ఉండి, ప్రజలకు అంతా సమృద్ధిగా ఉండినది. తమకు హాని కలిగించే విరోధులు దగ్గరలో వారికి లేరు. పైగా సీదోను నగరానికి దూరంగా వారు నివసిస్తున్నారు. ప్రజలతో ఎలాంటి ఒడంబడికలూ చేసుకోలేదు.
IRVTE   అప్పుడు ఐదుగురు మనుష్యులు వెళ్లి లాయిషుకు వచ్చారు. అక్కడ జనం, సీదోనీయుల్లా భద్రంగా, నిర్భయంగా నివసించడం చూశారు. దేశాన్ని ఆక్రమించుకుని అధికారం చెలాయించేవాళ్ళు గానీ, బాధలు పెట్టేవాళ్ళు గానీ లేకపోవడం చూసారు. వాళ్ళు సీదోనీయులకు దూరంగా నివసించడమూ, వాళ్ళకు ఎవరితోనూ * ఎవరితోనూ అరామియులు ఎలాంటి సంబంధాలు లేకపోవడమూ చూశారు. NET   So the five men journeyed on and arrived in Laish. They noticed that the people there were living securely, like the Sidonians do, undisturbed and unsuspecting. No conqueror was troubling them in any way. They lived far from the Sidonians and had no dealings with anyone.
ERVEN   So the five men left. They came to the city of Laish and saw that the people of that city lived in safety. They were ruled by the people of Sidon. Everything was peaceful and quiet. The people had plenty of everything, and they didn't have any enemies nearby to hurt them. Also they lived a long way from the city of Sidon, and they did not have any agreements with the people of Aram.

NLV   Then the five men left and came to Laish. They saw how the people lived there, quiet and feeling safe, like the Sidonians. There was no ruler in the land who would put them to shame for anything. They were far from the Sidonians and had nothing to do with anyone.
NCV   So the five men left. When they came to the city of Laish, they saw that the people there lived in safety, like the people of Sidon. They thought they were safe and had plenty of everything. They lived a long way from the Sidonians and had no dealings with anyone else.
